A great location for getting around and enjoying all the good things in life

Wraysbury is a picturesque village situated to the north of Staines, to the East of Windsor and within the prosperous Thames Valley region on the outer edges of the M25. The village offers excellent communication links, ideally nestled between the M4 and M25 with easy access to junctions to both motorways. Heathrow Airport is within 10 minutes travel time and there are two stations within the village serviced by the Windsor to Waterloo line. The journey into London is approximately 45-50 minutes.

Of particular note in the village are the historic buildings The George Inn pub, believed to be built during the 17th Century and the Church of St Andrew. The Church is believed to be of 12th Century origin, significantly reconstructed during the 19th Century. Just off the village green stands a striking windmill which is regularly used for film shoots and has featured in several magazine and newspaper articles.

Wraysbury, once a predominantly farming community has changed considerably from the 1930’s onwards. Farming began to decline and the gravel industry took over which has transformed the local landscape providing picturesque lakes offering nature watching and water activities.

The village offers a good range of amenities for the local community with a dentist, 2 public houses, restaurants and takeaways, post office, village pharmacy, newsagents, off licence, 2 estate agents and a primary school. Staines and Windsor town centres are within approximately 10 minutes travel time providing a wider range of high street chain stores, cinemas, leisure facilities, secondary schools, colleges and an abundance of historical sights &
walks.
